Swan
Kevin brings deep experience across technology startups, venture capital, corporate development, and private markets. Most recently, he was Managing Director and Head of Private Market Solutions at Morgan Stanley, where he built and led the firm’s private company liquidity programs, secondary transactions, and ecosystem development within Wealth Management, a platform that has facilitated more than $50 billion in company-led private share liquidity.
Previously, Kevin was VP of Corporate Development at Calgary-based Solium Capital, developer of the equity management platform Shareworks. He drove strategy, acquisitions, and new business lines that culminated in Solium’s USD $900 million acquisition by Morgan Stanley in 2019. Prior to Solium, he was VP of Corporate Development at AppDirect, a market-leading B2B subscription commerce platform company in San Francisco, where he played a key role in its growth from startup to unicorn. Earlier in his career, Kevin was a venture investor at Inovia Capital, leading investments in early-stage technology companies across the US and Canada.
Kevin holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, where he focused on mechatronics and control systems.

Financial technology underpins modern societies. It enables commerce and expands access to the goods and services that improve people’s lives. The market is massive, offering endless opportunity for meaningful innovation.
Fun Facts about me:
I grew up on an apiary on the Canadian prairies. Our family ran 3,000+ beehives and regularly produced over a million pounds of honey a year.
