About Us

Luge Capital is a fintech focused venture capital fund, investing in early-stage teams shaping the way the world experiences financial services. We are an experienced team with value added investors and a deep industry network to help founders build successful companies. We work with sincere people who care about what they do. And we’re Canadian, eh!

Why the name Luge?

Luge athletes face the same life changing experiences and emotions as entrepreneurs. They live through ups and downs, manage risk and are driven to win.  They think carefully and strategize, compete with all their energy and push beyond their limits. And they’re daring, maybe even a bit crazy. These are the characteristics we look for in founders.

What do we invest in?

We invest in fintech and AI solutions applied to fintech. We love entrepreneurs challenging the status quo with better ways of delivering financial services. We work with teams who are driven to solve real problems that affect people on a global scale.

Our areas of interest include data security, insurtech, lending algorithms, robo advisors, next gen payments, blockchain, merchant services, wealth management tools, alternative lending solutions, process automation, bots, regtech and other things we’ve yet to hear about. Contact us and let us know what you are building!

We believe in creating trusted partnerships with founders, investors and advisors to help build best of breed fintech companies.
