Rohan is an Investment Analyst at Luge Capital where he works closely with the investment team in sourcing new investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, deal execution, and supporting Luge portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Luge, Rohan held roles in venture capital at iGan Partners, product analytics at Affirm (NASDAQ: AFRM), product management at Mattermost (Y-Combinator Summer 2012 cohort), product growth at Loblaw Digital, and digital strategy at CIBC.
Born and raised in Toronto, he holds a BASc in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where he co-founded the UW Varsity Rowing program.

Why am in the VC industry?
Getting to work with ambitious founders and builders every day is inspiring. As an investor, it’s really amazing to have the opportunity to be a part of their journeys and to support their innovation.
What excites me about the Fintech industry?
FinTech is everywhere. From how we spend, to how we save, to how we run our businesses – it’s hard to think of another industry that touches so many peoples’ lives. There’s room for improvement across all sub-verticals.

I’m a huge sports and fitness nerd. You can often find me diving into training analytics or debating with friends the optimal roster construction of a Stanley Cup champion.
